TRADITIONAL MEDICINE
How does Acupuncture Work:
Acupuncture stimulates blood circulation and the body’s energy pathways. It helps balance the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. It also helps regulate the endocrine system, and improve hormonal balance. Acupuncture combined with herbal medicine can reduce inflammation and pain, improve digestive issues, sleeping patterns, and mental health.
Before Your Appointment
Please eat before your appointment but avoid being overly full. Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
During Your Appointment
Your health history and symptoms will be reviewed. I will come up with a treatment plan base on the diagnosis. Acupuncture treatment includes single-use, stainless steel needles inserted into the body’s energy meridians. Needles are not pressed deep, and most people do not find it painful or even experience discomfort. You will rest with needles inserted for 25 - 30 minutes, and then the needles will be removed. Most people find these treatments very relaxing.
After Acupuncture Treatment
Drink water and be easy on yourself. Avoid strenuous activities.
